Tambuwal Congratulates Atiku

A leading contender in the just concluded presidential primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the governor of Sokoto state Aminu Waziri Tambuwal says he will support the presidential candidate of the party to ensure victory come 2019 elections.

 He stated this while congratulating the winner of the party primary election, Atiku Abubakar, who polled one thousand five hundred and thirty two votes to defeat eleven other contestants in Port Harcourt.

Aminu Tambuwal who came second with six hundred and seventy three votes says victory for Atiku Abubakar is a victory for PDP and Nigerians.

Tambuwal said Nigerians are seeking for a credible alternative, which is the focus of the new PDP to provide for the country in the next general elections.

Aminu Waziri Tambuwal who was the youngest of the twelve contestants also called on Nigerians to work with the PDP to salvage the country from the clutches of economic downturns, insecurity and polarization of Nigeria along ethnic and political lines.
