Flood Ravages Yenagoa
In the past weeks, many villages and towns in the country have been hit by flooding which has destroyed property and led to the loss of lives.
In Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, where residents in some parts of the state capital have already become victims, many individuals have called on the government and other relevant agencies to urgently come to their rescue.
Residents of Elebele Community in Ogbia Local Government Area can see the increase in the river level, which is creeping gradually closer to houses, creating panic.
They are amongst many in Bayelsa State who are facing the onslaught of the ravaging flood.In Opolo, Ait/Elebele, Air Force Roads and Bycas, also in the state capital, residents expressed fear.
In the Okutukutu area, a bridge which connects the Ibiama-Yenagoa road to the Deeper Life Camp ground, has been washed away by the flood.

The suburb of Agudama has now become an unimaginable sight as residents now use canoes as a means of transportation while looking out for emergency accommodations.
