Air Force Chief Stresses Need For Effective Air Operations

Nigeria’s air force chief, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar says proper repositioning of air logistics architecture remains key for fighting forces on the field to win the war against Boko Haram insurgents.

The chief of air staff said this during the opening of a two-day conference on optimization of Nigerian air. Abubakar noted that despite efforts made to address daunting challenges in air operations there was the need for an all-inclusive approach and engagement of key players.

The chief of logistics of the Nigerian air force, Air vice Marshal Ibrahim Yahaya told participants to come up with a more robust and frank discussion on issues with a view to finding workable solutions to operational challenges.

Both past and serving air force officers are attending the two-day conference.
