Why We Left APC - House of Reps Defectors

The Members of the House of Representatives who defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) say 'Victimization and Criminalization of APC members with divergent views' made them to dump the Party.

The defectors led by Razak Atunwa said they had joined the APC in 2014 because they believed in its change and progressive ideals, which according to him, 'is now derailed as the party is set to the path of destruction'.

He further explained that the party embarked on victimization and criminalization of members perceived to have divergent views and the aggrieved members were castigated.

He also described the defections to PDP as home coming, adding that the APC-led government has failed woefully to address the spate of killings and other forms of insecurity on the crest of which it rode to Power in 2015.
