Five Killed, Houses Razed In Fresh Attack On Kola, Guyuk In Adamawa

Not fewer than five people have been killed in a fresh gun attack on Mararaban Kola, in Guyuk local government area of Adamawa state.

Eye witness account told ait that the suspected gun men invaded kola village on Tuesday night  on motor bikes shooting sporadically and setting houses ablaze.

The Adamawa police public relations officer Othman Abubakar while responding to ait confirmed the incident saying four men(4)  and a woman were killed in the attack while seven houses were torched. He said that a husband and wife sustained serious injuries and have been taken to hospital.

The police spokesman also said the attackers were armed with locally made guns and no arrest has been made,

Security agents have been drafted to the area.
