Dino Melaye Insists On Constituency Projects Despite Attack
The senator representing kogi west senatorial district Dino Melaye says his ordeal in the hands of security agents will not stop him from bringing development to the people of his constituency.
The lawmaker said this following the recent alleged attack on his convoy in his home town during a tour to commission some of his projects.
Senator melaye, had on July 8, 2018 through his lawyer written to the state commissioner of police and the department of state security in lokoja, kogi state, requesting for security coverage during his constituency tour and thanksgiving service which was scheduled to hold on 18th through to 21st July 2018.
But on his way to yagba east to commission some of his projects, a state government grader blocked the road to stop him from going ahead with the commissioning.
But after successfully commissioning some projects at mopa and Ayetaju and while returning to his home town Ayetoro, his convoy was attacked by some police men at a checkpoint.
