Kone Sanga Suspended
The president of zone 3 of the confederation of African volleyball, Kone Sanga has been suspended from his post.
The
zone's extraordinary congress held in Lagos resolved to suspend the
Cote d'ivoire born volleyball administrator for alleged nefarious
activities contrary to the development of the game of volleyball in the
west African sub-region.
Part of
Sanga's offences is his alleged decision to write a protest letter to
the world governing body five thereby creating crisis in the zone.
Sanga,
who stands suspended for the remainder of his tenure, is being replaced
by Ghana’s Paul Atchoe who has been unanimously mandated to take charge
in acting capacity.
The congress was attended by the volleyball presidents of Benin republic, Burkina Faso, Ghana, niger republic and host Nigeria.
