INEC Bars APC From Fielding Candidates From Zamfara State For 2019 Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC is not expecting the All Progressives Congress to submit names of candidates from Zamfara state.
In a letter made available to AIT, INEC stated that no primaries were conducted by APC notwithstanding the presence of INEC officials.


Consequently, based on the provisions of sections 87 and 31 of the electoral act 2010 the commission does not expect that APC will submit names to the commission for the elections.
