Boko Haram Attacks Chibok Community In Borno

Suspected members of the Boko Haram sect have attacked Mife Village, a community in Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State.
The attack on the community comes four years after a similar attack that led to the abduction of over 200 school girls.
The incident,  which occurred on Monday night,  claimed the life of the village head , Bila Vwa and one other person who is yet to be identified. 


According to a statement from the State Commissioner of Police, Damian Chukwu, the terrorists numbering about 50, invaded Mife village, in Chibok Local Government Aarea and killed two persons.

 
The statement also added that over 30 houses were reportedly burnt and about 40 bicycles carted away by the hoodlums.
 However, normalcy has been restored in the area while investigations into the incident are ongoing.
