Buhari Accents To Medical Residency Training Act

President Muhammadu Buhari has accented to the medical residency training act 2018.
The act seeks to ensure continuous training of postgraduate medical doctors as well as improve the quality of medical practice in Nigeria.
Speaking with state house correspondents on Thursday, the senior special assistant to the president on national assembly matters (senate) Ita Enang explained that the act is also targeted at discouraging medical tourism.
Enang noted that the programme according to the act, will be managed by the National Post Graduate Medical college of Nigeria.
President Buhari also on Thursday, accented to the hydroelectric power producing areas development commission amendment act.
